Job Description:
We are looking for a strategic, creative, and metrics-driven Social Media Manager to take ownership of Yrefy’s social presence across all platforms. This individual will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing engaging content, monitoring performance, fostering community interaction, and ensuring our social channels reflect Yrefy’s voice and values.
You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure our message is aligned across campaigns, promotions, and organic engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to grow brand awareness, audience engagement, and conversion rates.
- Manage day-to-day operations of all social channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Plan and publish a high-performing content calendar with a balance of promotional, educational, and community-building content.
- Collaborate with creative teams to produce multimedia content, including posts, reels, videos, carousels, and stories.
- Write engaging copy that aligns with the brand tone and drives action.
- Monitor trends, competitor activity, and platform algorithm updates to inform content strategies.
- Engage actively with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and authentic way.
- Track and report performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, follower growth, CTR, conversions) and use insights to optimize campaigns.
- Run and manage paid social media campaigns in collaboration with the digital advertising team.
- Identify opportunities for influencer partnerships, cross-promotions, and user-generated content.
- Ensure social content aligns with broader marketing objectives.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of experience managing professional social media accounts, preferably in education or finance fields
Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of social platforms, tools, and current best practices.
- Proficient with social media scheduling tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later.
- Experience with analytics platforms (e.g., Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics).
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong visual literacy and video editing capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate with designers or use basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express).
- Knowledge of paid social advertising is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects at once.
- Self-starter passionate about staying ahead of social trends and testing new formats.
- Awareness and knowledge of our endorsers and network.
